Descending to the chambers of death.

¹⁸ For ^(A)her house ^[a]leads down to death,
And her paths to the dead;
¹⁹ None who go to her return,
Nor do they ^[b]regain the paths of life—

²⁶ For ^(A)by means of a harlot
A man is reduced to a crust of bread;
^(B)And ^[a]an adulteress will ^(C)prey upon his precious life.
