    to turn your wrath away from them.

²⁹ A violent person entices their neighbor
    and leads them down a path that is not good.^(A)

³⁰ Whoever winks^(B) with their eye is plotting perversity;
    whoever purses their lips is bent on evil.

¹⁸         a heart that devises wicked schemes,
        feet that are quick to rush into evil,^(A)

³ See how they lie in wait for me!
    Fierce men conspire^(A) against me
    for no offense or sin of mine, Lord.

²⁰ My companion attacks his friends;^(A)
    he violates his covenant.^(B)

²⁰ They do not speak peaceably,
    but devise false accusations^(A)
    against those who live quietly in the land.
