Saying 15

¹⁷ Since you call on a Father^(A) who judges each person’s work^(B) impartially,^(C) live out your time as foreigners^(D) here in reverent fear.^(E)

⁴⁰ I will make an everlasting covenant^(A) with them: I will never stop doing good to them, and I will inspire^(B) them to fear me, so that they will never turn away from me.^(C)

A Sabbath-Rest for the People of God

4 Therefore, since the promise of entering his rest still stands, let us be careful that none of you be found to have fallen short of it.^(A)

²⁰ Granted. But they were broken off because of unbelief, and you stand by faith.^(A) Do not be arrogant,^(B) but tremble.^(C)
