The Contrast of Wisdom and Folly

^20 (A)Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that ^(B)your names are written in heaven.”

⁴⁷ Moreover, the king's servants came to congratulate our lord King David, saying, ^(A)‘May your God make the name of Solomon more famous than yours, and make his throne greater than your throne.’ And the king ^(B)bowed himself on the bed.

³⁹ And all these, ^(A)though commended through their faith, ^(B)did not receive what was promised,

³ Yes, I ask you also, true companion,^[a] help these women, who have labored^[b] side by side with me in the gospel together with Clement and the rest of my fellow workers, ^(A)whose names are in the book of life.

¹⁰ and rescued him out of all his afflictions and ^(A)gave him favor and wisdom before Pharaoh, king of Egypt, ^(B)who made him ruler over Egypt and over all his household.
