¹¹ Now may ^(A)our God and Father himself, and our Lord Jesus, ^(B)direct our way to you,

¹⁷ “But ^(A)when he ^(B)came to himself, he said, ‘How many of my father's hired servants have more than enough bread, but I perish here with hunger! ¹⁸ I will arise and go to my father, and I will say to him, “Father, ^(C)I have sinned against ^(D)heaven and before you.

^18 (A)Consider from this day onward, ^(B)from the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month. Since ^(C)the day that the foundation of the Lord's temple was laid, ^(D)consider: ^19 (E)Is the seed yet in the barn? Indeed, the vine, the fig tree, the pomegranate, and the olive tree have yielded nothing. But from this day on ^(F)I will bless you.”

¹⁵ Now then, ^(A)consider from this day onward.^[a] Before stone was placed upon stone in the temple of the Lord,

⁷ “Thus says the Lord of hosts: ^(A)Consider your ways.

⁵ Now, therefore, thus says the Lord of hosts: ^(A)Consider your ways.

²⁸ Because he considered and turned away from all the transgressions that he had committed, he shall surely live; he shall not die.

¹⁶ “As for the word that you have spoken to us in the name of the Lord, ^(A)we will not listen to you. ^17 (B)But we will do everything that we have vowed, make offerings to ^(C)the queen of heaven ^(D)and pour out drink offerings to her, ^(E)as we did, both we and our fathers, our kings and our officials, in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem. For then we had plenty of food, and prospered, and saw no disaster.
