²¹ For the upright will abide in the land,
    and the innocent will remain in it,^(A)

²⁹ The righteous shall inherit the land
    and live in it forever.^(A)

⁹ For the wicked shall be cut off,
    but those who wait for the Lord shall inherit the land.^(A)

³⁰ The righteous will never totter,
    but the wicked will not remain on the earth.^(A)

¹¹ For the Lord God is a sun and shield;
    he bestows favor and honor.
No good thing does the Lord withhold
    from those who walk uprightly.^(A)

²² surely those blessed by the Lord shall inherit the land,
    but those cursed by him shall be cut off.^(A)

¹¹ But the meek shall inherit the land
    and delight themselves in abundant prosperity.^(A)

⁴ They rise in the darkness as a light for the upright;
    they are gracious, merciful, and righteous.^(A)
5 It is well with those who deal generously and lend,
    who conduct their affairs with justice.
⁶ For the righteous will never be moved;
    they will be remembered forever.^(B)
