Proverbs 19:11-14

^11 (A)The discretion of a man makes him slow to anger,
^(B)And his glory is to overlook a transgression.

^12 (C)The king’s wrath is like the roaring of a lion,
But his favor is ^(D)like dew on the grass.

^13 (E)A foolish son is the ruin of his father,
^(F)And the contentions of a wife are a continual ^[a]dripping.

^14 (G)Houses and riches are an inheritance from fathers,
But ^(H)a prudent wife is from the Lord.
