14 “Let ^(A)not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.

¹⁰ For ^(A)godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; ^(B)but the sorrow of the world produces death.

^7 (A)so that, on the contrary, you ought rather to forgive and comfort him, lest perhaps such a one be swallowed up with too much sorrow.

Paul’s Sincerity

¹² For our boasting is this: the testimony of our conscience that we conducted ourselves in the world in ^[a]simplicity and ^(A)godly sincerity, ^(B)not with fleshly wisdom but by the grace of God, and more abundantly toward you.

² Therefore the king said to me, “Why is your face sad, since you are not sick? This is nothing but ^(A)sorrow of heart.”
