²⁶ Whoever fears the Lord has a secure fortress,^(A)
    and for their children it will be a refuge.^(B)

²³ The fear of the Lord leads to life;
    then one rests content, untouched by trouble.^(A)

¹⁰ The name of the Lord is a fortified tower;^(A)
    the righteous run to it and are safe.^(B)

⁷ Do not be wise in your own eyes;^(A)
    fear the Lord^(B) and shun evil.^(C)
8 This will bring health to your body^(D)
    and nourishment to your bones.^(E)

¹³ he will bless those who fear^(A) the Lord—
    small and great alike.

¹⁴ May the Lord cause you to flourish,^(B)
    both you and your children.

⁶ He will be the sure foundation for your times,
    a rich store of salvation^(A) and wisdom and knowledge;
    the fear^(B) of the Lord is the key to this treasure.^[a](C)

⁷ The angel of the Lord^(A) encamps around those who fear him,
    and he delivers^(B) them.

⁸ Taste and see that the Lord is good;^(C)
    blessed is the one who takes refuge^(D) in him.
⁹ Fear the Lord,^(E) you his holy people,
    for those who fear him lack nothing.^(F)
10 The lions may grow weak and hungry,
    but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.^(G)
11 Come, my children, listen^(H) to me;
    I will teach you^(I) the fear of the Lord.^(J)
