² The tongue of the wise adorns knowledge,
    but the mouths of fools pour out folly.^(A)

³ Even when fools walk on the road, they lack sense
    and show to everyone that they are fools.^(A)

¹³ See, my servant shall prosper;
    he shall be exalted and lifted up
    and shall be very high.^(A)

²⁴ The proud, haughty person, named Scoffer,
    acts with arrogant pride.^(A)

²² Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord,
    but those who act faithfully are his delight.^(A)
23 One who is clever conceals knowledge,
    but the mind of a fool^[a] broadcasts folly.^(B)

⁵ It is well with those who deal generously and lend,
    who conduct their affairs with justice.
