² A good man ^(A)obtains favor from the Lord,
    but a man of evil devices he condemns.

³⁵ For ^(A)whoever finds me ^(B)finds life
    and ^(C)obtains favor from the Lord,

⁵ It is well with the man who ^(A)deals generously and lends;
    who conducts his affairs with justice.

^5 (A)The fool will no more be called noble,
    nor the scoundrel said to be honorable.
⁶ For ^(B)the fool speaks folly,
    and his heart is busy with iniquity,
to practice ungodliness,
    to utter error concerning the Lord,
^(C)to leave the craving of the hungry unsatisfied,
    and to deprive the thirsty of drink.
⁷ As for the scoundrel—^(D)his devices are evil;
    he plans wicked schemes
to ruin the poor with lying words,
    even when the plea of the needy is right.

³¹ therefore they shall eat ^(A)the fruit of their way,
    and have ^(B)their fill of their own devices.

^18 (A)a heart that devises wicked plans,
    ^(B)feet that make haste to run to evil,
