⁶ The godly are showered with blessings;
    the words of the wicked conceal violent intentions.

²⁰ The trustworthy person will get a rich reward,
    but a person who wants quick riches will get into trouble.

¹¹ The words of the godly are a life-giving fountain;
    the words of the wicked conceal violent intentions.

²⁵ But it will go well for those who convict the guilty;
    rich blessings will be showered on them.

²⁶ People curse those who hoard their grain,
    but they bless the one who sells in time of need.

⁴² The godly will see these things and be glad,
    while the wicked are struck silent.

¹³ I helped those without hope, and they blessed me.
    And I caused the widows’ hearts to sing for joy.
