Proverbs 15:28-33
English Standard Version
28 The heart of the righteous (A)ponders how to answer,
but (B)the mouth of the wicked pours out evil things.
29 The Lord is (C)far from the wicked,
but he (D)hears the prayer of the righteous.
30 (E)The light of the eyes rejoices the heart,
and (F)good news refreshes[a] the bones.
31 (G)The ear that listens to (H)life-giving reproof
will dwell among the wise.
32 Whoever (I)ignores instruction (J)despises himself,
but he who listens to reproof (K)gains intelligence.
33 (L)The fear of the Lord is instruction in wisdom,
and (M)humility comes before honor.

29 The Lord is far from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous.
30 The light of the eyes rejoiceth the heart: and a good report maketh the bones fat.
31 The ear that heareth the reproof of life abideth among the wise.
32 He that refuseth instruction despiseth his own soul: but he that heareth reproof getteth understanding.
33 The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom; and before honour is humility.
