¹¹ “As for me, ^(A)I baptize you ^[a]with water for repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, and I am not fit to remove His sandals; ^(B)He will baptize you ^[b]with the Holy Spirit and fire. ¹² His ^(C)winnowing fork is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clear His threshing floor; and He will ^(D)gather His wheat into the barn, but He will burn up the ^(E)chaff with ^(F)unquenchable fire.”

¹⁹ Nevertheless, the ^(A)firm foundation of God stands, having this ^(B)seal: “^(C)The Lord knows those who are His;” and, “^(D)Everyone who names the name of the Lord is to keep away from wickedness.”

²⁰ Now in a large house there are not only gold and silver implements, but also implements of wood and of earthenware, and ^(E)some are for honor while others are for dishonor. ²¹ Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from ^(F)these things, he will be an implement for honor, sanctified, useful to the Master, ^(G)prepared for every good work. ²² Now ^(H)flee from youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, ^(I)faith, love, and peace with those who ^(J)call on the Lord ^(K)from a pure heart.
