ba încă a văzut cum, în Locaşul lui cel Sfânt, au intrat(B) neamurile,
cărora Tu le porunciseşi să nu intre(C) în adunarea Ta!
11 Tot poporul lui caută(D) pâine suspinând;
şi-au dat lucrurile scumpe pe hrană, numai ca să-şi ţină viaţa.
„Uită-Te, Doamne, şi priveşte cât de înjosit sunt!”
12 O, voi, care treceţi pe lângă mine,
priviţi şi vedeţi dacă(E) este vreo durere ca durerea mea,
ca durerea cu care m-a lovit Domnul în ziua mâniei Lui aprinse!

10 The adversary hath spread out his hand upon all her pleasant things: for she hath seen that the heathen entered into her sanctuary, whom thou didst command that they should not enter into thy congregation.

11 All her people sigh, they seek bread; they have given their pleasant things for meat to relieve the soul: see, O Lord, and consider; for I am become vile.

12 Is it nothing to you, all ye that pass by? behold, and see if there be any sorrow like unto my sorrow, which is done unto me, wherewith the Lord hath afflicted me in the day of his fierce anger.

    on all her treasures;(A)
she saw pagan nations
    enter her sanctuary(B)
those you had forbidden(C)
    to enter your assembly.

11 All her people groan(D)
    as they search for bread;(E)
they barter their treasures for food
    to keep themselves alive.
“Look, Lord, and consider,
    for I am despised.”

12 “Is it nothing to you, all you who pass by?(F)
    Look around and see.
Is any suffering like my suffering(G)
    that was inflicted on me,
that the Lord brought on me
    in the day of his fierce anger?(H)
