²¹ Confident of your obedience, I am writing to you, knowing that you will do even more than I ask.^(A)

⁴ And we have confidence in the Lord concerning you, that you are doing and will go on doing the things that we command.^(A)

³ And I wrote as I did, so that when I came, I might not suffer grief from those who should have made me rejoice, for I am confident about all of you, that my joy would be the joy of all of you.^(A)

¹⁶ I rejoice because I have complete confidence in you.^(A)

¹⁰ I am confident about you in the Lord that you will not think otherwise. But whoever it is that is confusing you will pay the penalty.^(A)

²² And with them we are sending our brother whom we have often tested and found eager in many matters but who is now more eager than ever because of his great confidence in you.
