Philippians 3:7-11
New American Standard Bible
7 But (A)whatever things were gain to me, these things I have counted as loss because of Christ. 8 More than that, I count all things to be loss [a]in view of the surpassing value of [b](B)knowing (C)Christ Jesus my Lord, [c]for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them mere rubbish, so that I may gain Christ, 9 and may be found in Him, not having (D)a righteousness of my own derived from the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ, (E)the righteousness which comes from God on the basis of faith, 10 that I may (F)know Him and (G)the power of His resurrection and [d](H)the fellowship of His sufferings, being (I)conformed to His death; 11 if somehow I may (J)attain to the resurrection from the dead.

Revised Standard Version
7 But whatever gain I had, I counted as loss for the sake of Christ. 8 Indeed I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as refuse, in order that I may gain Christ 9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own, based on law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God that depends on faith; 10 that I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and may share his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, 11 that if possible I may attain the resurrection from the dead.
