(A)Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but (B)in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. (C)Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of (D)others.

The Humbled and Exalted Christ

(E)Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, (F)being in the form of God, did not consider it [a]robbery to be equal with God, (G)but [b]made Himself of no reputation, taking the form (H)of a bondservant, and (I)coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and (J)became (K)obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. doing nothing through faction or through vainglory, but in lowliness of mind each counting other better than himself; not looking each of you to his own things, but each of you also to the things of others. Wherefore also God highly exalted him, and gave unto him the name which is above every name; 10 that in the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven and things on earth and [c]things under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
