3 doing nothing [a]from [b](A)selfish ambition or (B)vain glory, but with humility of mind (C)regarding one another as more important than yourselves, 4 (D)not merely looking out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others. 5 (E)Have this way of thinking [c]in yourselves which was also in (F)Christ Jesus, 6 who, although (G)existing in the (H)form of God, (I)did not regard equality with God a thing [d]to be grasped, 7 but [e](J)emptied Himself, by taking the form of a (K)slave, by (L)being made in the likeness of men. 8 Being found in appearance as a man, (M)He humbled Himself by becoming (N)obedient to the point of death, even (O)death [f]on a cross. 9 (P)Therefore, God also (Q)highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him (R)the name which is above every name, 10 so that at the name of Jesus (S)every knee will bow, of (T)those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and that (U)every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is [g](V)Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

3 Do nothing from selfishness or conceit, but in humility count others better than yourselves. 4 Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. 5 Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, 6 who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7 but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant,[a] being born in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in human form he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even death on a cross. 9 Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
