²⁰ according to my ^(A)eager expectation and ^(B)hope, that I will not be put to shame in anything, but that with ^(C)all boldness, Christ will even now, as always, be ^(D)exalted in my body, ^(E)whether by life or by death.

¹⁵ And so, ^(A)having patiently waited, he obtained the promise.

³ knowing that ^(A)the testing of your ^(B)faith produces ^[a](C)endurance. ⁴ And let ^[b](D)endurance have its perfect ^[c]result, so that you may be ^[d](E)perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.

⁶ and in your knowledge, ^(A)self-control, and in your self-control, ^(B)perseverance, and in your perseverance, ^(C)godliness,

³ And everyone who has this ^(A)hope set on Him ^(B)purifies himself, just as He is pure.
