4 ^(A)Finally then, ^(B)brothers, we ask and exhort you in the Lord Jesus, that as you received from us as to how you ought to ^[a](C)walk and ^(D)please God (just as you actually do ^[b]walk), that you ^(E)excel still more.

¹⁰ for indeed ^(A)you do practice it toward all the brothers who are in all Macedonia. But we urge you, brothers, to ^(B)excel still more,

³ We ought always ^(A)to give thanks to God for you, ^(B)brothers, as is only fitting, because your faith is growing abundantly, and the ^(C)love of each one of you all toward one another increases all the more,
