Philippians 1:27-2:2
English Standard Version
27 Only (A)let your manner of life be (B)worthy[a] of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of you (C)that you are standing firm in one spirit, with (D)one mind (E)striving side by side for the faith of the gospel, 28 and not frightened in anything by your opponents. This is (F)a clear sign to them of their destruction, but (G)of your salvation, and that from God. 29 For (H)it has been granted to you that for the sake of Christ you should not only believe in him but also (I)suffer for his sake, 30 engaged in the same (J)conflict that (K)you saw I had and now hear that I still have.
Christ's Example of Humility
2 So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from (L)love, any (M)participation in the Spirit, any (N)affection and sympathy, 2 (O)complete my joy by being (P)of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind.

Common English Bible
Live worthy of the gospel
27 Most important, live together in a manner worthy of Christ’s gospel. Do this, whether I come and see you or I’m absent and hear about you. Do this so that you stand firm, united in one spirit and mind as you struggle together to remain faithful to the gospel. 28 That way, you won’t be afraid of anything your enemies do. Your faithfulness and courage are a sign of their coming destruction and your salvation, which is from God. 29 God has generously granted you the privilege, not only of believing in Christ but also of suffering for Christ’s sake. 30 You are having the same struggle that you saw me face and now hear that I’m still facing.
Imitate Christ
2 Therefore, if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort in love, any sharing in the Spirit, any sympathy, 2 complete my joy by thinking the same way, having the same love, being united, and agreeing with each other.
Philippians 1:27-2:2
New International Version
Life Worthy of the Gospel
27 Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy(A) of the gospel of Christ. Then, whether I come and see you or only hear about you in my absence, I will know that you stand firm(B) in the one Spirit,[a] striving together(C) as one for the faith of the gospel 28 without being frightened in any way by those who oppose you. This is a sign to them that they will be destroyed, but that you will be saved—and that by God. 29 For it has been granted to you(D) on behalf of Christ not only to believe in him, but also to suffer(E) for him, 30 since you are going through the same struggle(F) you saw(G) I had, and now hear(H) that I still have.
Imitating Christ’s Humility
2 Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit,(I) if any tenderness and compassion,(J) 2 then make my joy complete(K) by being like-minded,(L) having the same love, being one(M) in spirit and of one mind.
