Philemon’s Love and Faith
4 (A)I thank my God always, making mention of you in my prayers, 5 because I (B)hear of your love and of the faith which you have toward the Lord Jesus and toward all the [a]saints; 6 and I pray that the fellowship of your faith may become effective [b]through the (C)knowledge of every good thing which is in you [c]for the sake of Christ. 7 For I have had great (D)joy and comfort in your love, because the [d]hearts of the [e]saints have been (E)refreshed through you, brother.

Paul’s Prayer for Philemon
4 I always thank my God when I mention you[a] in my prayers, 5 because I keep hearing about your love for all the saints and the faith that you have in the Lord Jesus. 6 I pray[b] that your partnership in the faith may become effective as you fully acknowledge every blessing that is ours[c] in the Messiah.[d] 7 For I have received considerable joy and encouragement from your love, because the hearts of the saints have been refreshed, brother, through you.
