Philemon’s Love and Faith
4 (B)I thank my God always, making mention of you in my prayers, 5 because I (C)hear of your love and of the faith which you have toward the Lord Jesus and toward all the [a]saints; 6 and I pray that the fellowship of your faith may become effective [b]through the (D)knowledge of every good thing which is in you [c]for the sake of Christ. 7 For I have had great (E)joy and comfort in your love, because the [d]hearts of the [e]saints have been (F)refreshed through you, brother.

Thanksgiving and Prayer
4 I always thank my God(B) as I remember you in my prayers,(C) 5 because I hear about your love for all his holy people(D) and your faith in the Lord Jesus.(E) 6 I pray that your partnership with us in the faith may be effective in deepening your understanding of every good thing we share for the sake of Christ. 7 Your love has given me great joy and encouragement,(F) because you, brother, have refreshed(G) the hearts of the Lord’s people.
