Following Paul’s Example

¹⁵ All of us, then, who are mature^(A) should take such a view of things.^(B) And if on some point you think differently, that too God will make clear to you.^(C)

¹⁷ Anyone who chooses to do the will of God will find out^(A) whether my teaching comes from God or whether I speak on my own.

⁴ Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature^(A) and complete, not lacking anything. ⁵ If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God,^(B) who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.^(C)

¹⁰ I am confident^(A) in the Lord that you will take no other view.^(B) The one who is throwing you into confusion,^(C) whoever that may be, will have to pay the penalty.

God’s Wisdom Revealed by the Spirit

⁶ We do, however, speak a message of wisdom among the mature,^(A) but not the wisdom of this age^(B) or of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing.^(C)

¹² Epaphras,^(A) who is one of you^(B) and a servant of Christ Jesus, sends greetings. He is always wrestling in prayer for you,^(C) that you may stand firm in all the will of God, mature^(D) and fully assured.

¹² Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal,^(A) but I press on to take hold^(B) of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.^{(C) 13} Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind^(D) and straining toward what is ahead, ¹⁴ I press on^(E) toward the goal to win the prize^(F) for which God has called^(G) me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

²⁰ Brothers and sisters, stop thinking like children.^(A) In regard to evil be infants,^(B) but in your thinking be adults.
