²⁵ And being confident of this, I know that I shall remain and continue with you all for your progress and joy of faith,

²⁴ But I trust in the Lord that I myself shall also come shortly.

²⁴ Not ^(A)that we ^[a]have dominion over your faith, but are fellow workers for your joy; for ^(B)by faith you stand.

¹³ Now may the God of hope fill you with all ^(A)joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

¹¹ For I long to see you, that ^(A)I may impart to you some spiritual gift, so that you may be established— ¹² that is, that I may be encouraged together with you by ^(B)the mutual faith both of you and me.

²⁵ “And indeed, now I know that you all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, will see my face no more.

²² strengthening the souls of the disciples, ^(A)exhorting them to continue in the faith, and saying, ^(B)“We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God.”

^8 (A)whom having not ^[a]seen you love. ^(B)Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory,

¹¹ And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, ¹² for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, ^(A)for the ^[a]edifying of ^(B)the body of Christ, ¹³ till we all come to the unity of the faith ^(C)and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to ^(D)a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;

^29 (A)But I know that when I come to you, I shall come in the fullness of the blessing ^[a]of the gospel of Christ.
