²⁴ But to remain in the flesh is more necessary on your account.

^25 (A)Convinced of this, ^(B)I know that I will remain and continue with you all, for your ^(C)progress and ^(D)joy in the faith, ²⁶ so that in me ^(E)you may have ample cause to glory in Christ Jesus, because of my coming to you again.

²² If I am to live in the flesh, that means fruitful labor for me. Yet which I shall choose I cannot tell.

⁷ Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for ^(A)if I do not go away, ^(B)the Helper will not come to you. But ^(C)if ^(D)I go, ^(E)I will send him to you.

²⁹ I ^(A)know that after my departure ^(B)fierce wolves will come in among you, ^(C)not sparing the flock; ³⁰ and ^(D)from among your own selves will arise men speaking twisted things, to draw away the disciples after them. ³¹ Therefore ^(E)be alert, remembering that ^(F)for three years I did not cease night or day ^(G)to admonish every one ^(H)with tears.
