25 Io li seminerò di nuovo per me nel paese
e amerò Non-amata;
e a Non-mio-popolo dirò: Popolo mio,
ed egli mi dirà: Mio Dio.

3 Il Signore mi disse ancora: «Và, ama una donna che è amata da un altro ed è adultera; come il Signore ama gli Israeliti ed essi si rivolgono ad altri dei e amano le schiacciate d'uva».
2 Io me l'acquistai per quindici pezzi d'argento e una misura e mezza d'orzo 3 e le dissi: «Per lunghi giorni starai calma con me; non ti prostituirai e non sarai di alcun uomo; così anch'io mi comporterò con te.
4 Poiché per lunghi giorni
staranno gli Israeliti
senza re e senza capo,
senza sacrificio e senza stele,
senza efod e senza terafim.
5 Poi torneranno gli Israeliti
e cercheranno il Signore loro Dio,
e Davide loro re
e trepidi si volgeranno al Signore
e ai suoi beni, alla fine dei giorni».

L’amore di Dio per Israele nonostante i peccati di questo
3 (A)Il Signore mi disse: «Va’ ancora, ama una donna amata da un altro e adultera; amala come il Signore ama i figli d’Israele, i quali pure si volgono ad altri dèi e amano le schiacciate d’uva[a]».
2 Allora me la comprai per quindici sicli d’argento, per un comer d’orzo e un letec d’orzo, 3 e le dissi: «Aspettami per parecchio tempo: non ti prostituire e non darti a nessun uomo; io farò lo stesso per te». 4 I figli d’Israele infatti staranno per parecchio tempo senza re, senza capo, senza sacrificio e senza statua, senza efod e senza idoli domestici. 5 Poi i figli d’Israele torneranno a cercare il Signore, loro Dio, e Davide, loro re, e ricorreranno tremanti al Signore e alla sua bontà, negli ultimi giorni.

3 The Lord said to me, “Go, show your love to your wife again, though she is loved by another man and is an adulteress.(A) Love her as the Lord loves the Israelites, though they turn to other gods and love the sacred raisin cakes.(B)”
2 So I bought her for fifteen shekels[a] of silver and about a homer and a lethek[b] of barley. 3 Then I told her, “You are to live with me many days; you must not be a prostitute or be intimate with any man, and I will behave the same way toward you.”
4 For the Israelites will live many days without king or prince,(C) without sacrifice(D) or sacred stones,(E) without ephod(F) or household gods.(G) 5 Afterward the Israelites will return and seek(H) the Lord their God and David their king.(I) They will come trembling(J) to the Lord and to his blessings in the last days.(K)

Hosea Redeems His Wife
3 And the Lord said to me, (A)“Go again, love a woman who is loved by another man and is an adulteress, even as the Lord loves the children of Israel, though they turn to other gods and love cakes of raisins.” 2 So I bought her for fifteen shekels of silver and a (B)homer and a lethech[a] of barley. 3 And I said to her, “You must (C)dwell as mine for many days. You shall not play the whore, or belong to another man; so will I also be to you.” 4 For the children of Israel (D)shall dwell many days (E)without king or prince, (F)without sacrifice or (G)pillar, without (H)ephod or (I)household gods. 5 Afterward (J)the children of Israel shall return and (K)seek the Lord their God, and (L)David their king, (M)and they shall come in fear to the Lord and to his goodness in the (N)latter days.
