¹⁴ Do not stand at the crossroads
    to ·destroy [^Lcut off] ·those who are trying to escape [their fugitives].
Do not capture ·those who escape alive [their survivors] and turn them over to their enemy
    in their ·time [^Lday] of ·trouble [adversity].
