¹³ “Behold, ^(D)the days are coming,” says the Lord,
“When the plowman shall overtake the reaper,
And the treader of grapes him who sows seed;
^(E)The mountains shall drip with sweet wine,
And all the hills shall flow with it.
^14 (F)I will bring back the captives of My people Israel;
^(G)They shall build the waste cities and inhabit them;
They shall plant vineyards and drink wine from them;
They shall also make gardens and eat fruit from them.
¹⁵ I will plant them in their land,
^(H)And no longer shall they be pulled up
From the land I have given them,”
Says the Lord your God.

⁸ “Behold, ^(A)the eyes of the Lord God are on the sinful kingdom,
And I ^(B)will destroy it from the face of the earth;
Yet I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob,”
Says the Lord.

^(A)‘I will return to Zion,
And ^(B)dwell in the midst of Jerusalem.
Jerusalem ^(C)shall be called the City of Truth,
^(D)The Mountain of the Lord of hosts,
^(E)The Holy Mountain.’

¹⁹ “Egypt shall be a desolation,
And Edom a desolate wilderness,
Because of violence against the people of Judah,
For they have shed innocent blood in their land.
²⁰ But Judah shall abide forever,
And Jerusalem from generation to generation.
²¹ For I will ^(A)acquit them of the guilt of bloodshed, whom I had not acquitted;
For the Lord dwells in Zion.”
