21 Se poi la nuvola si fermava solamente dalla sera al mattino, quando al mattino si alzava, essi si mettevano in cammino; tanto di giorno come di notte, quando la nuvola si alzava, si mettevano in cammino.

22 Se la nuvola rimaneva ferma sul tabernacolo due giorni o un mese o un anno, i figli d'Israele rimanevano accampati e non si muovevano; ma quando si alzava, si mettevano in cammino.

23 All'ordine dell'Eterno si accampavano e all'ordine dell'Eterno si mettevano in cammino; osservavano il comando dell'Eterno, secondo ciò che l'Eterno aveva ordinato per mezzo di Mosè.

21 Sometimes the cloud stayed only from evening till morning, and when it lifted in the morning, they set out. Whether by day or by night, whenever the cloud lifted, they set out. 22 Whether the cloud stayed over the tabernacle for two days or a month or a year, the Israelites would remain in camp and not set out; but when it lifted, they would set out. 23 At the Lord’s command they encamped, and at the Lord’s command they set out. They obeyed the Lord’s order, in accordance with his command through Moses.

21 And so it was, when the cloud abode from even unto the morning, and that the cloud was taken up in the morning, then they journeyed: whether it was by day or by night that the cloud was taken up, they journeyed.

22 Or whether it were two days, or a month, or a year, that the cloud tarried upon the tabernacle, remaining thereon, the children of Israel abode in their tents, and journeyed not: but when it was taken up, they journeyed.

23 At the commandment of the Lord they rested in the tents, and at the commandment of the Lord they journeyed: they kept the charge of the Lord, at the commandment of the Lord by the hand of Moses.
