28 en de priester zal verzoening over hem doen tegenover de Here, dan zal hij vergeving ontvangen. 29 Hetzelfde geldt voor de buitenlander die bij u woont. 30 Maar iemand die deze overtreding opzettelijk maakt, ongeacht of hij een geboren Israëliet of een buitenlander is, beledigt de Here en zal worden verstoten uit het volk.

28 The priest is to make atonement(A) before the Lord for the one who erred by sinning unintentionally, and when atonement has been made, that person will be forgiven.(B) 29 One and the same law applies to everyone who sins unintentionally, whether a native-born Israelite or a foreigner residing among you.(C)
30 “‘But anyone who sins defiantly,(D) whether native-born or foreigner,(E) blasphemes the Lord(F) and must be cut off from the people of Israel.(G)

28 And the priest shall make an atonement for the soul that sinneth ignorantly, when he sinneth by ignorance before the Lord, to make an atonement for him; and it shall be forgiven him.
29 Ye shall have one law for him that sinneth through ignorance, both for him that is born among the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them.
30 But the soul that doeth ought presumptuously, whether he be born in the land, or a stranger, the same reproacheth the Lord; and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
