29 Moise a zis lui Hobab, fiul lui Reuel(B), Madianitul, socrul lui Moise: „Noi plecăm spre locul despre care Domnul a zis: ‘Eu vi-l(C) voi da.’ Vino cu noi, şi îţi vom face(D) bine, căci Domnul(E) a făgăduit că va face bine lui Israel.” 30 Hobab i-a răspuns: „Nu pot să merg, ci mă voi duce în ţara mea şi în locul meu de naştere.”

28 This was the order of march for the Israelite divisions as they set out.
29 Now Moses said to Hobab(A) son of Reuel(B) the Midianite, Moses’ father-in-law,(C) “We are setting out for the place about which the Lord said, ‘I will give it to you.’(D) Come with us and we will treat you well, for the Lord has promised good things to Israel.”
30 He answered, “No, I will not go;(E) I am going back to my own land and my own people.(F)”
