²⁴ The Lord bless you and keep you;^(B)
25 the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you;^(C)
26 the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.^(D)

You have set your glory above the heavens.^(A)
2     Out of the mouths of babes and infants
you have founded a bulwark because of your foes,
    to silence the enemy and the avenger.^(B)

³ When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers,
    the moon and the stars that you have established;^(C)
4 what are humans that you are mindful of them,
    mortals^[a] that you care for them?^(D)

⁵ Yet you have made them a little lower than God^[b]
    and crowned them with glory and honor.^(E)
6 You have given them dominion over the works of your hands;
    you have put all things under their feet,^(F)
7 all sheep and oxen,
    and also the beasts of the field,
⁸ the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea,
    whatever passes along the paths of the seas.

⁹ O Lord, our Sovereign,
    how majestic is your name in all the earth!^(G)

⁶ who, though he existed in the form of God,
    did not regard equality with God
    as something to be grasped,^(B)
7 but emptied himself,
    taking the form of a slave,
    assuming human likeness.
And being found in appearance as a human,^(C)
8     he humbled himself
    and became obedient to the point of death—
    even death on a cross.^(D)

⁹ Therefore God exalted him even more highly
    and gave him the name
    that is above every other name,^(E)
10 so that at the name given to Jesus
    every knee should bend,
    in heaven and on earth and under the earth,^(F)
11 and every tongue should confess
    that Jesus Christ is Lord,
    to the glory of God the Father.^(G)
