Aaron’s Benediction

²² Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, ²³ “Speak to Aaron and to his sons, saying, ‘In this way ^(A)you shall bless the sons of Israel. You are to say to them:

²⁷ So they shall ^[b](H)invoke My name on the sons of Israel, and then I will bless them.”

Offerings for the Sanctuary

25 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, ² “^(A)Tell the sons of Israel to take a ^[a]contribution for Me; ^(B)from everyone whose heart moves him you shall take My ^[b]contribution. ³ This is the ^[c]contribution which you are to take from them: gold, silver, and bronze, ^4 [d](C)violet, purple, and scarlet material, fine linen, goat hair, ⁵ rams’ skins dyed red, ^[e]fine leather, acacia wood, ^6 (D)oil for lighting, ^(E)balsam oil for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense, ⁷ onyx stones and setting stones for the ^(F)ephod and for the ^[f](G)breastpiece. ⁸ Have them ^(H)construct a sanctuary for Me, ^(I)so that I may dwell among them. ^9 (J)According to all that I am going to show you as the pattern of the tabernacle and the pattern of all its furniture, so you shall construct it.

Ark of the Covenant

¹⁰ “Now ^(K)they shall construct an ^[g]ark of acacia wood ^[h]two and a half cubits ^[i]long, one and a half cubits ^[j]wide, and one and a half cubits ^[k]high.

^30 (A)Then Moses said to the sons of Israel, “See, the Lord has called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. ³¹ And He has filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all ^[a]craftsmanship; ³² to create ^[b]designs for working in gold, in silver, and in ^[c]bronze, ³³ and in the cutting of stones for settings and in the carving of wood, so as to perform in every inventive work. ³⁴ He also has put in his heart to teach, both he and ^(B)Oholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan. ^35 (C)He has filled them with ^[d]skill to perform every work of an engraver, of a designer, and of an embroiderer, in violet, purple, and in scarlet material, and in fine linen, and of a weaver, as performers of every work and makers of designs.

⁵⁰ And you shall ^(A)appoint the Levites over the ^[a]tabernacle of the testimony, and over all its furnishings and over everything that belongs to it. They shall carry the tabernacle and all its furnishings, and they shall take care of it; they shall also camp around the ^[b]tabernacle. ^51 (B)So when the tabernacle is to move on, the Levites shall take it down; and when the tabernacle encamps, the Levites shall set it up. But ^(C)the ^[c]layman who comes near it shall be put to death.
