The Priestly Blessing

²² The Lord spoke to Moses: ²³ ‘Tell Aaron and his sons, “This is how you are to bless the Israelites. You should say to them,

²⁷ In this way they will pronounce my name over^[b] the Israelites, and I will bless them.’

⁵ Then the priests, the sons of Levi, will come forward, for the Lord your God has chosen them to serve him and pronounce blessings in his name, and they are to give a ruling in^[a] every dispute and case of assault.

²⁷ Then the priests and the Levites^(A) stood to bless the people,^(B) and God heard them, and their prayer came into his holy dwelling place^(C) in heaven.
