Numbers 5:12-22
New American Standard Bible
12 “Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, ‘If any man’s wife (A)goes astray and is unfaithful to him, 13 and a man has (B)sexual relations with her and it is hidden from the eyes of her husband and she remains undiscovered, although she has defiled herself, and there is no witness against her and she has not been caught in the act, 14 [a]if [b]an attitude of (C)jealousy comes over him and he is jealous of his wife when she has defiled herself, or if [c]an attitude of jealousy comes over him and he is jealous of his wife when she has not defiled herself, 15 the man shall then bring his wife to the priest, and shall bring as [d]an offering for her a tenth of an [e]ephah of barley meal; he shall not pour oil on it nor put frankincense on it, because it is a grain offering of jealousy, a grain offering of reminder, (D)a reminder of wrongdoing.
16 ‘Then the priest shall bring her forward and have her stand before the Lord, 17 and the priest shall take holy water in an earthenware container; and [f]he shall take some of the dust that is on the floor of the tabernacle and put it in the water. 18 The priest shall then have the woman stand before the Lord and let down the hair of the woman’s head, and place the grain offering of reminder [g]in her hands, that is, the grain offering of jealousy; and in the hand of the priest is to be the water of bitterness that brings a curse. 19 And the priest shall have her take an oath and shall say to the woman, “If no man has had sexual relations with you and if you have not (E)gone astray into uncleanness, as you are under the authority of your husband, be [h]immune to this water of bitterness that brings a curse; 20 if, however, you have (F)gone astray, though under the authority of your husband, and if you have defiled yourself and a man other than your husband has had sexual intercourse with you” 21 (then the priest shall have the woman (G)swear with the oath of the curse, and the priest shall say to the woman), “may the Lord make you a curse and an oath among your people by the Lord’s making your thigh [i]shriveled and your [j]belly swollen; 22 and this water that brings a curse shall go into your [k]stomach, to make your belly swell up and your thigh [l]shrivel.” And the woman (H)shall say, “Amen, Amen.”

Malachi 2:14-16
New American Standard Bible
14 Yet you say, “For what reason?” Because the Lord has been a witness between you and the (A)wife of your youth, against whom you have dealt (B)treacherously, though she is your marriage companion and your wife by covenant. 15 [a]But not one has (C)done so who has a remnant of the Spirit. And [b]why the one? He was seeking a (D)godly offspring. Be careful then about your spirit, and see that none of you deals (E)treacherously against the wife of your youth. 16 “For [c]I hate [d](F)divorce,” says the Lord, the God of Israel, “and [e]him who covers his garment with (G)violence,” says the Lord of armies. “So be careful about your spirit, that you do not deal treacherously.”

Matthew 5:27-32
New American Standard Bible
27 “(A)You have heard that it was said, ‘(B)You shall not commit adultery’; 28 but I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman (C)with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29 Now (D)if your right eye is causing you to sin, tear it out and throw it away from you; for it is better for you to lose one of the parts of your body, [a]than for your whole body to be thrown into [b](E)hell. 30 And (F)if your right hand is causing you to sin, cut it off and throw it away from you; for it is better for you [c]to lose one of the parts of your body, [d]than for your whole body to go into [e](G)hell.
31 “Now it was said, ‘(H)Whoever sends his wife away is to give her a certificate of divorce’; 32 (I)but I say to you that everyone who [f]divorces his wife, except for the reason of sexual immorality, makes her commit adultery; and whoever marries a [g]divorced woman commits adultery.
