Stages in Israel’s Journey

33 Here are the stages in the journey^(A) of the Israelites when they came out of Egypt^(B) by divisions under the leadership of Moses and Aaron.^(C) ²At the Lord’s command Moses recorded^(D) the stages in their journey^(E). This is their journey by stages:

³The Israelites set out^(F) from Rameses^(G) on the fifteenth day of the first month, the day after the Passover.^(H) They marched out defiantly^(I) in full view of all the Egyptians,

Israel’s Journey from Egypt Reviewed

33 These are the journeys of the children of Israel, who went out of the land of Egypt by their armies under the ^(A)hand of Moses and Aaron. ²Now Moses wrote down the starting points of their journeys at the command of the Lord. And these are their journeys according to their starting points:

³They ^(B)departed from Rameses in ^(C)the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the day after the Passover the children of Israel went out ^(D)with boldness in the sight of all the Egyptians.
