Monthly Offerings

^11 (A)‘At the beginnings of your months you shall present a burnt offering to the Lord: two young bulls, one ram, and seven lambs in their first year, without blemish;

⁵ And David said to Jonathan, “Indeed tomorrow is the ^(A)New Moon, and I should not fail to sit with the king to eat. But let me go, that I may ^(B)hide in the field until the third day at evening.

²⁴ Then David hid in the field. And when the New Moon had come, the king sat down to eat the feast.

²³ So he said, “Why are you going to him today? It is neither the ^(A)New Moon nor the Sabbath.”

And she said, ^[a]“It is well.”

¹³ according to the ^(A)daily rate, offering according to the commandment of Moses, for the Sabbaths, the New Moons, and the ^(B)three appointed yearly ^(C)feasts—the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Feast of Weeks, and the Feast of Tabernacles.

¹⁷ Then it shall be the ^(A)prince’s part to give burnt offerings, grain offerings, and drink offerings, at the feasts, the New Moons, the Sabbaths, and at all the appointed seasons of the house of Israel. He shall prepare the sin offering, the grain offering, the burnt offering, and the peace offerings to make atonement for the house of Israel.”

⁶ On the day of the New Moon it shall be a young bull without blemish, six lambs, and a ram; they shall be without blemish.
