57 (A) Dessa var de av Levi stam som mönstrades efter sina släkter:
Av Gershon gershoniternas släkt,
av Kehat kehatiternas släkt,
av Merari merariternas släkt.
58 Dessa var leviternas släkter:
libniternas släkt,
hebroniternas släkt,
mahliternas släkt,
mushiternas släkt,
koraiternas släkt.
Och Kehat var far[a] till Amram. 59 (B) Amrams hustru hette Jokebed, Levis dotter, som föddes åt Levi i Egypten. Hon födde åt Amram: Aron, Mose och deras syster Mirjam.

57 These were the Levites(A) who were counted by their clans:
through Gershon, the Gershonite clan;
through Kohath, the Kohathite clan;
through Merari, the Merarite clan.
58 These also were Levite clans:
the Libnite clan,
the Hebronite clan,
the Mahlite clan,
the Mushite clan,
the Korahite clan.

57 (A)And these are those who were numbered of the Levites according to their families: of Gershon, the family of the Gershonites; of Kohath, the family of the Kohathites; of Merari, the family of the Merarites. 58 These are the families of the Levites: the family of the Libnites, the family of the Hebronites, the family of the Mahlites, the family of the Mushites, and the family of the Korathites. And Kohath begot Amram. 59 The name of Amram’s wife was (B)Jochebed the daughter of Levi, who was born to Levi in Egypt; and to Amram she bore Aaron and Moses and their sister Miriam.
