Numbers 26:3-5

³And Moses and Eleazar the priest spake with them in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho, saying,

⁴Take the sum of the people, from twenty years old and upward; as the Lord commanded Moses and the children of Israel, which went forth out of the land of Egypt.

⁵¶ Reuben, the eldest son of Israel: the children of Reuben; Hanoch, of whom cometh the family of the Hanochites: of Pallu, the family of the Palluites:

New International Version

³So on the plains of Moab^(A) by the Jordan across from Jericho,^(B) Moses and Eleazar the priest spoke with them and said, ⁴“Take a census of the men twenty years old or more, as the Lord commanded Moses.”

These were the Israelites who came out of Egypt:^(C)

⁵The descendants of Reuben,^(D) the firstborn son of Israel, were:

through Hanok,^(E) the Hanokite clan;

through Pallu,^(F) the Palluite clan;
