33 They went down alive into the realm of the dead,(A) with everything they owned; the earth closed over them, and they perished and were gone from the community. 34 At their cries, all the Israelites around them fled, shouting, “The earth is going to swallow us too!”
35 And fire came out from the Lord(B) and consumed(C) the 250 men who were offering the incense.

34 그 주변에 있던 모든 사람들은 그들의 비명 소리를 듣고 “땅이 우리까지 삼키려 한다!” 하고 소리치며 달아났다.
35 그리고 여호와께서는 불을 보내 분향하던 고라의 추종자 250명도 태워 죽였다.
