15 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land of your habitations, which I give unto you,

3 And will make an offering by fire unto the Lord, a burnt offering, or a sacrifice in performing a vow, or in a freewill offering, or in your solemn feasts, to make a sweet savour unto the Lord, of the herd, or of the flock:

4 Then shall he that offereth his offering unto the Lord bring a meat offering of a tenth deal of flour mingled with the fourth part of an hin of oil.

5 And the fourth part of an hin of wine for a drink offering shalt thou prepare with the burnt offering or sacrifice, for one lamb.

6 Or for a ram, thou shalt prepare for a meat offering two tenth deals of flour mingled with the third part of an hin of oil.

7 And for a drink offering thou shalt offer the third part of an hin of wine, for a sweet savour unto the Lord.

8 And when thou preparest a bullock for a burnt offering, or for a sacrifice in performing a vow, or peace offerings unto the Lord:

9 Then shall he bring with a bullock a meat offering of three tenth deals of flour mingled with half an hin of oil.

10 And thou shalt bring for a drink offering half an hin of wine, for an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the Lord.

11 Thus shall it be done for one bullock, or for one ram, or for a lamb, or a kid.

12 According to the number that ye shall prepare, so shall ye do to every one according to their number.

13 All that are born of the country shall do these things after this manner, in offering an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the Lord.

14 And if a stranger sojourn with you, or whosoever be among you in your generations, and will offer an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the Lord; as ye do, so he shall do.

15 One ordinance shall be both for you of the congregation, and also for the stranger that sojourneth with you, an ordinance for ever in your generations: as ye are, so shall the stranger be before the Lord.

16 One law and one manner shall be for you, and for the stranger that sojourneth with you.

17 ¶ And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

18 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land whither I bring you,

19 Then it shall be, that, when ye eat of the bread of the land, ye shall offer up an heave offering unto the Lord.

20 Ye shall offer up a cake of the first of your dough for an heave offering: as ye do the heave offering of the threshingfloor, so shall ye heave it.

21 Of the first of your dough ye shall give unto the Lord an heave offering in your generations.

22 And if ye have erred, and not observed all these commandments, which the Lord hath spoken unto Moses,

23 Even all that the Lord hath commanded you by the hand of Moses, from the day that the Lord commanded Moses, and henceforward among your generations;

24 Then it shall be, if ought be committed by ignorance without the knowledge of the congregation, that all the congregation shall offer one young bullock for a burnt offering, for a sweet savour unto the Lord, with his meat offering, and his drink offering, according to the manner, and one kid of the goats for a sin offering.

25 And the priest shall make an atonement for all the congregation of the children of Israel, and it shall be forgiven them; for it is ignorance: and they shall bring their offering, a sacrifice made by fire unto the Lord, and their sin offering before the Lord, for their ignorance:

26 And it shall be forgiven all the congregation of the children of Israel, and the stranger that sojourneth among them; seeing all the people were in ignorance.

27 And if any soul sin through ignorance, then he shall bring a she goat of the first year for a sin offering.

28 And the priest shall make an atonement for the soul that sinneth ignorantly, when he sinneth by ignorance before the Lord, to make an atonement for him; and it shall be forgiven him.

29 Ye shall have one law for him that sinneth through ignorance, both for him that is born among the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them.

30 But the soul that doeth ought presumptuously, whether he be born in the land, or a stranger, the same reproacheth the Lord; and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.

31 Because he hath despised the word of the Lord, and hath broken his commandment, that soul shall utterly be cut off; his iniquity shall be upon him.

32 ¶ And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man that gathered sticks upon the sabbath day.

33 And they that found him gathering sticks brought him unto Moses and Aaron, and unto all the congregation.

34 And they put him in ward, because it was not declared what should be done to him.

35 And the Lord said unto Moses, The man shall be surely put to death: all the congregation shall stone him with stones without the camp.

36 And all the congregation brought him without the camp, and stoned him with stones, and he died; as the Lord commanded Moses.

37 ¶ And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

38 Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put upon the fringe of the borders a ribband of blue:

39 And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the Lord, and do them; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring:

40 That ye may remember, and do all my commandments, and be holy unto your God.

41 I am the Lord your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am the Lord your God.

15 Herren talade till Mose. Han sade: 2 ”Tala till Israels barn och säg till dem: När ni kommer in i det land som jag ger er att bo i, 3 (A) och ni vill offra ett eldsoffer åt Herren, ett brännoffer eller ett slaktoffer av nöt eller småboskap, för att bereda Herren en ljuvlig doft – vare sig det gäller att fullgöra ett löfte eller om det är ett frivilligt offer eller era högtidsoffer – 4 (B) så ska den som bär fram ett sådant offer åt Herren, också som matoffer bära fram en tiondels efa fint mjöl, blandat med en fjärdedels hin[a] olja, 5 och som dryckesoffer ska du offra en fjärdedels hin vin för varje lamm tillsammans med brännoffret eller slaktoffret.

6 Till en bagge ska du som matoffer offra två tiondels efa fint mjöl, blandat med en tredjedels hin olja,[b] 7 och som dryckesoffer ska du bära fram en tredjedels hin vin till en ljuvlig doft för Herren. 8 När du offrar en ungtjur till brännoffer eller slaktoffer för att fullgöra ett löfte eller som gemenskapsoffer[c] åt Herren, 9 ska du tillsammans med tjuren som matoffer bära fram tre tiondels efa fint mjöl, blandat med en halv hin[d] olja, 10 och som dryckesoffer ska du bära fram en halv hin vin, det är ett eldsoffer till en ljuvlig doft för Herren.

11 Så ska man göra med varje tjur, varje bagge, varje lamm eller killing. 12 Efter det antal ni offrar, ska ni göra så med var och en efter deras antal. 13 Varje infödd ska göra så när han bär fram ett eldsoffer till en ljuvlig doft för Herren. 14 När en främling som bor hos er eller någon som vistas ibland er i kommande släkten vill offra ett eldsoffer till en ljuvlig doft för Herren, ska han göra så som ni gör. 15 (C) Inom församlingen ska samma stadga gälla för er och för främlingen hos er, en evig stadga från släkte till släkte. Som det är för er, så ska det vara för främlingen inför Herrens ansikte. 16 Samma lag och samma rätt ska gälla för er och för främlingen som bor hos er.”

17 Herren talade till Mose. Han sade: 18 ”Tala till Israels barn och säg till dem: När ni kommer in i det land dit jag för er, 19 (D) då ska ni, när ni äter av landets bröd, ge Herren en offergåva av det. 20 (E) Av det första ni bakar ska ni ge en kaka till offergåva, som en offergåva från er loge ska ni ge den. 21 Ni ska ge åt Herren en offergåva, släkte efter släkte, av det första ni bakar.

22 Om ni försyndar er och inte håller alla dessa bud som Herren kungjorde för Mose 23 – allt det som Herren befallde er genom Mose, från den dag då Herren gav sina befallningar och allt framgent, släkte efter släkte, – 24 (F) om det gjordes av misstag utan att församlingen visste det, ska hela församlingen offra en ungtjur som brännoffer, till en ljuvlig doft för Herren, med matoffret och dryckesoffret på föreskrivet sätt, och likaså en bock till syndoffer. 25 Och prästen ska bringa försoning för hela Israels församling, och de ska få förlåtelse. Det var en synd av misstag, och de har burit fram sitt offer, ett eldsoffer åt Herren och sitt syndoffer inför Herrens ansikte för sitt misstag. 26 Hela Israels församling och främlingen som bor bland dem ska få förlåtelse, eftersom hela folket hade del i synden som gjordes av misstag.

27 (G) Om en enskild person av misstag syndar, ska han som syndoffer föra fram en årsgammal get. 28 Prästen ska bringa försoning för den som har felat genom att av misstag synda inför Herrens ansikte. Så blir han försonad och får förlåtelse. 29 Både för den infödde bland Israels barn och för främlingen som bor ibland dem ska samma lag gälla när någon begår en synd av misstag. 30 Men den som begår något med berått mod[e], vare sig han är infödd eller främling, han hånar Herren och ska utrotas ur sitt folk. 31 Eftersom han har föraktat Herrens ord och brutit mot hans bud, måste han utrotas. Hans missgärning vilar på honom.”

En sabbatsbrytare stenas

32 Medan Israels barn var i öknen, ertappades en man med att samla ved på sabbatsdagen. 33 De som ertappade honom med att samla ved förde honom till Mose och Aron och hela församlingen. 34 (H) Då det inte var klart utsagt vad som borde göras med honom, satte de honom i förvar.

35 Och Herren sade till Mose: ”Mannen ska straffas med döden. Hela församlingen ska stena honom utanför lägret.” 36 Då förde hela församlingen ut honom utanför lägret och stenade honom till döds, så som Herren hade befallt Mose.

Hörntofsarna

37 Herren sade till Mose: 38 (I) ”Tala till Israels barn och säg till dem att de, släkte efter släkte, ska göra tofsar[f] i hörnen på sina kläder och sätta ett mörkblått[g] snöre på varje hörntofs. 39 Ni ska ha sådana tofsar, och när ni ser dem ska ni tänka på alla Herrens bud och göra efter dem och inte följa era egna hjärtan och ögon, som lockar er till otrohet. 40 Så ska ni tänka på och göra efter alla mina bud och vara heliga inför er Gud. 41 Jag är Herren er Gud, som förde er ut ur Egyptens land för att vara er Gud. Jag är Herren er Gud.”

15 El Señor le ordenó a Moisés 2 que les dijera a los israelitas: «Después de que hayáis entrado en la tierra que os doy para que la habitéis, 3 tal vez alguno quiera ofrecerle al Señor una vaca o una oveja, ya sea como ofrenda presentada por fuego, o como holocausto, o como sacrificio para cumplir un voto, o como ofrenda voluntaria, o para celebrar una fiesta solemne. Para que esa ofrenda sea un aroma grato al Señor, 4 el que presente su ofrenda deberá añadirle, como ofrenda de cereal al Señor, dos kilos de flor de harina mezclada con un litro[a] de aceite. 5 A cada cordero que se le ofrezca al Señor como holocausto o sacrificio se le añadirá como libación un litro[b] de vino.

6 »Si se trata de un carnero, se preparará una ofrenda de cereal de cuatro kilos[c] de flor de harina, mezclada con un litro y medio[d] de aceite. 7 Como libación ofrecerás también un litro y medio de vino. Así será una ofrenda de aroma grato al Señor.

8 »Si ofreces un novillo como holocausto o sacrificio, a fin de cumplir un voto o hacer un sacrificio de comunión para el Señor, 9 junto con el novillo presentarás, como ofrenda de cereal, seis kilos[e] de flor de harina mezclada con dos litros[f] de aceite. 10 Presentarás también, como libación, dos litros de vino. Será una ofrenda presentada por fuego, de aroma grato al Señor. 11 Cada novillo, carnero, cordero o cabrito deberá prepararse de la manera indicada. 12 Procederás así con cada uno de ellos, sin que importe el número de animales que ofrezcas.

13 »Cada vez que un israelita presente una ofrenda por fuego, de aroma grato al Señor, se ceñirá a estas instrucciones. 14 Si un extranjero que viva entre vosotros desea presentar una ofrenda por fuego, de aroma grato al Señor, se ceñirá a estas mismas instrucciones, 15 porque en la comunidad regirá un solo estatuto para ti y para el extranjero que viva en tus ciudades. Será un estatuto perpetuo para todos tus descendientes. Tú y el extranjero sois iguales ante el Señor, 16 así que la misma ley y el mismo derecho regirán, tanto para ti como para el extranjero que viva contigo».

Ofrenda de los primeros frutos

17 El Señor le ordenó a Moisés 18 que les dijera a los israelitas: «Cuando entréis en la tierra adonde os llevo 19 y comáis de lo que ella produce, ofreceréis una contribución al Señor. 20 De tu primera horneada presentarás, como contribución, una torta de flor de harina. 21 Todos tus descendientes ofrecerán perpetuamente al Señor una contribución de la primera horneada.

Ofrendas por pecados inadvertidos

22 »Podría ocurrir que vosotros pecarais inadvertidamente y que no cumplierais con todos los mandamientos que el Señor entregó a Moisés, 23 es decir, con todos los mandamientos que el Señor os dio por medio de Moisés, desde el día en que los promulgó para todos vuestros descendientes. 24 Si el pecado de la comunidad pasa inadvertido, esta ofrecerá un novillo como holocausto de aroma grato al Señor, junto con la libación, la ofrenda de cereal y un macho cabrío como sacrificio expiatorio, tal como está prescrito. 25 El sacerdote hará propiciación en favor de toda la comunidad israelita, y serán perdonados porque fue un pecado inadvertido y porque presentaron al Señor una ofrenda por fuego y un sacrificio expiatorio por el pecado inadvertido que cometieron. 26 Toda la comunidad israelita será perdonada, junto con los extranjeros, porque todo el pueblo pecó inadvertidamente.

30 »Pero el que peque deliberadamente, sea nativo o extranjero, ofende al Señor. Tal persona será eliminada de la comunidad, 31 y cargará con su culpa, por haber despreciado la palabra del Señor y quebrantado su mandamiento».

Quebrantamiento del día de reposo

32 Un sábado, durante la estancia de los israelitas en el desierto, un hombre fue sorprendido recogiendo leña. 33 Quienes lo sorprendieron lo llevaron ante Moisés y Aarón, y ante toda la comunidad. 34 Al principio solo quedó detenido, porque no estaba claro qué se debía hacer con él. 35 Entonces el Señor le dijo a Moisés: «Ese hombre debe morir. Que toda la comunidad lo apedree fuera del campamento». 36 Así que la comunidad lo llevó fuera del campamento y lo apedreó hasta matarlo, tal como el Señor se lo ordenó a Moisés.

Supplementary Offerings

15 The Lord said to Moses, 2 “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘After you enter the land I am giving you(A) as a home 3 and you present to the Lord food offerings from the herd or the flock,(B) as an aroma pleasing to the Lord(C)—whether burnt offerings(D) or sacrifices, for special vows or freewill offerings(E) or festival offerings(F)— 4 then the person who brings an offering shall present to the Lord a grain offering(G) of a tenth of an ephah[a] of the finest flour(H) mixed with a quarter of a hin[b] of olive oil. 5 With each lamb(I) for the burnt offering or the sacrifice, prepare a quarter of a hin of wine(J) as a drink offering.(K)

6 “‘With a ram(L) prepare a grain offering(M) of two-tenths of an ephah[c](N) of the finest flour mixed with a third of a hin[d] of olive oil,(O) 7 and a third of a hin of wine(P) as a drink offering.(Q) Offer it as an aroma pleasing to the Lord.(R)

8 “‘When you prepare a young bull(S) as a burnt offering or sacrifice, for a special vow(T) or a fellowship offering(U) to the Lord, 9 bring with the bull a grain offering(V) of three-tenths of an ephah[e](W) of the finest flour mixed with half a hin[f] of olive oil, 10 and also bring half a hin of wine(X) as a drink offering.(Y) This will be a food offering, an aroma pleasing to the Lord.(Z) 11 Each bull or ram, each lamb or young goat, is to be prepared in this manner. 12 Do this for each one, for as many as you prepare.(AA)

13 “‘Everyone who is native-born(AB) must do these things in this way when they present a food offering as an aroma pleasing to the Lord.(AC) 14 For the generations to come,(AD) whenever a foreigner(AE) or anyone else living among you presents a food(AF) offering(AG) as an aroma pleasing to the Lord, they must do exactly as you do. 15 The community is to have the same rules for you and for the foreigner residing among you; this is a lasting ordinance for the generations to come.(AH) You and the foreigner shall be the same before the Lord: 16 The same laws and regulations will apply both to you and to the foreigner residing among you.(AI)’”

17 The Lord said to Moses, 18 “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘When you enter the land to which I am taking you(AJ) 19 and you eat the food of the land,(AK) present a portion as an offering to the Lord.(AL) 20 Present a loaf from the first of your ground meal(AM) and present it as an offering from the threshing floor.(AN) 21 Throughout the generations to come(AO) you are to give this offering to the Lord from the first of your ground meal.(AP)

Offerings for Unintentional Sins

22 “‘Now if you as a community unintentionally fail to keep any of these commands the Lord gave Moses(AQ)— 23 any of the Lord’s commands to you through him, from the day the Lord gave them and continuing through the generations to come(AR)— 24 and if this is done unintentionally(AS) without the community being aware of it,(AT) then the whole community is to offer a young bull for a burnt offering(AU) as an aroma pleasing to the Lord,(AV) along with its prescribed grain offering(AW) and drink offering,(AX) and a male goat for a sin offering.[g](AY) 25 The priest is to make atonement for the whole Israelite community, and they will be forgiven,(AZ) for it was not intentional(BA) and they have presented to the Lord for their wrong a food offering(BB) and a sin offering.(BC) 26 The whole Israelite community and the foreigners residing among them will be forgiven, because all the people were involved in the unintentional wrong.(BD)

27 “‘But if just one person sins unintentionally,(BE) that person must bring a year-old female goat for a sin offering.(BF) 28 The priest is to make atonement(BG) before the Lord for the one who erred by sinning unintentionally, and when atonement has been made, that person will be forgiven.(BH) 29 One and the same law applies to everyone who sins unintentionally, whether a native-born Israelite or a foreigner residing among you.(BI)

30 “‘But anyone who sins defiantly,(BJ) whether native-born or foreigner,(BK) blasphemes the Lord(BL) and must be cut off from the people of Israel.(BM) 31 Because they have despised(BN) the Lord’s word and broken his commands,(BO) they must surely be cut off; their guilt remains on them.(BP)’”

The Sabbath-Breaker Put to Death

32 While the Israelites were in the wilderness,(BQ) a man was found gathering wood on the Sabbath day.(BR) 33 Those who found him gathering wood brought him to Moses and Aaron and the whole assembly, 34 and they kept him in custody, because it was not clear what should be done to him.(BS) 35 Then the Lord said to Moses, “The man must die.(BT) The whole assembly must stone him outside the camp.(BU)” 36 So the assembly took him outside the camp and stoned him(BV) to death,(BW) as the Lord commanded Moses.(BX)

Tassels on Garments

37 The Lord said to Moses, 38 “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘Throughout the generations to come(BY) you are to make tassels on the corners of your garments,(BZ) with a blue cord on each tassel. 39 You will have these tassels to look at and so you will remember(CA) all the commands of the Lord, that you may obey them and not prostitute yourselves(CB) by chasing after the lusts of your own hearts(CC) and eyes. 40 Then you will remember to obey all my commands(CD) and will be consecrated to your God.(CE) 41 I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt to be your God.(CF) I am the Lord your God.(CG)’”
