Laws About Sacrifices

15 The Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, (A)When you come into the land you are to inhabit, which I am giving you, 3 and (B)you offer to the Lord from the herd or from the flock a food offering[a] or a burnt offering or a sacrifice, (C)to fulfill a vow or as a freewill offering or (D)at your appointed feasts, to make a (E)pleasing aroma to the Lord, 4 then (F)he who brings his offering shall offer to the Lord (G)a grain offering of a tenth of an ephah[b] of fine flour, (H)mixed with a quarter of a hin[c] of oil; 5 and you shall offer with the burnt offering, or for the sacrifice, a quarter of a hin of (I)wine for the drink offering for each lamb. 6 (J)Or for a ram, you shall offer for a grain offering two tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with a third of a hin of oil. 7 And for the drink offering you shall offer a third of a hin of wine, a (K)pleasing aroma to the Lord. 8 And when you offer a bull as a burnt offering or sacrifice, to (L)fulfill a vow or for (M)peace offerings to the Lord, 9 then one shall offer (N)with the bull a grain offering of three tenths of an ephah of fine flour, mixed with half a hin of oil. 10 And you shall offer for the drink offering half a hin of wine, as a food offering, a pleasing aroma to the Lord.

11 (O)“Thus it shall be done for each bull or ram, or for each lamb or young goat. 12 As many as you offer, so shall you do with each one, as many as there are. 13 Every native Israelite shall do these things in this way, in offering a food offering, with a pleasing aroma to the Lord. 14 And if a stranger is sojourning with you, or anyone is living permanently among you, and he wishes to offer a food offering, with a pleasing aroma to the Lord, he shall do as you do. 15 For the assembly, (P)there shall be one statute for you and for the stranger who sojourns with you, a statute forever throughout your generations. You and the sojourner shall be alike before the Lord. 16 One law and one rule shall be for you and for the stranger who sojourns with you.”

17 The Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 18 (Q)“Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, When you come into the land to which I bring you 19 and when you eat of (R)the bread of the land, you shall present a contribution to the Lord. 20 (S)Of the first of your dough you shall present a loaf as a contribution; like a (T)contribution from the threshing floor, so shall you present it. 21 (U)Some of the first of your dough you shall give to the Lord as a contribution throughout your generations.

Laws About Unintentional Sins

22 (V)“But if you sin unintentionally,[d] and do not observe all these commandments that the Lord has spoken to Moses, 23 all that the Lord has commanded you by Moses, from the day that the Lord gave commandment, and onward throughout your generations, 24 then if it was done unintentionally (W)without the knowledge of the congregation, all the congregation shall offer one bull from the herd for a burnt offering, a pleasing aroma to the Lord, (X)with its grain offering and its drink offering, according to the rule, and (Y)one male goat for a sin offering. 25 (Z)And the priest shall make atonement for all the congregation of the people of Israel, and they shall be forgiven, because it was a mistake, and they have brought their offering, a food offering to the Lord, and their sin offering before the Lord for their mistake. 26 And all the congregation of the people of Israel shall be forgiven, and the stranger who sojourns among them, because the whole population was involved in the mistake.

27 (AA)“If one person sins unintentionally, he shall offer a female goat a year old for a sin offering. 28 (AB)And the priest shall make atonement before the Lord for the person who makes a mistake, when he sins unintentionally, to make atonement for him, and he shall be forgiven. 29 (AC)You shall have one law for him who does anything unintentionally, for him who is native among the people of Israel and for the stranger who sojourns among them. 30 (AD)But the person who does anything with a high hand, whether he is native or a sojourner, reviles the Lord, and that person shall be cut off from among his people. 31 Because he has (AE)despised the word of the Lord and has broken his commandment, that person shall be utterly cut off; his iniquity shall be on him.”

A Sabbathbreaker Executed

32 While the people of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man (AF)gathering sticks on the Sabbath day. 33 And those who found him gathering sticks brought him to Moses and Aaron and to all the congregation. 34 (AG)They put him in custody, because it had not been made clear what should be done to him. 35 And the Lord said to Moses, (AH)“The man shall be put to death; all the congregation shall (AI)stone him with stones outside the camp.” 36 And all the congregation brought him outside the camp and stoned him to death with stones, as the Lord commanded Moses.

Tassels on Garments

37 The Lord said to Moses, 38 “Speak to the people of Israel, and tell them to (AJ)make tassels on the corners of their garments throughout their generations, and to put a cord of blue on the tassel of each corner. 39 And it shall be a tassel for you to look at and remember all the commandments of the Lord, to do them, (AK)not to follow[e] after your own heart and your own eyes, which you are inclined (AL)to whore after. 40 So you shall remember and do all my commandments, and be (AM)holy to your God. 41 (AN)I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt to be your God: I am the Lord your God.”

15 Jehová habló a Moisés, diciendo: 2 Habla a los hijos de Israel, y diles: Cuando hayáis entrado en la tierra de vuestra habitación que yo os doy, 3 y hagáis ofrenda encendida a Jehová, holocausto, o sacrificio, por especial voto, o de vuestra voluntad, o para ofrecer en vuestras fiestas solemnes olor grato a Jehová, de vacas o de ovejas; 4 entonces el que presente su ofrenda a Jehová traerá como ofrenda la décima parte de un efa de flor de harina, amasada con la cuarta parte de un hin de aceite. 5 De vino para la libación ofrecerás la cuarta parte de un hin, además del holocausto o del sacrificio, por cada cordero. 6 Por cada carnero harás ofrenda de dos décimas de flor de harina, amasada con la tercera parte de un hin de aceite; 7 y de vino para la libación ofrecerás la tercera parte de un hin, en olor grato a Jehová. 8 Cuando ofrecieres novillo en holocausto o sacrificio, por especial voto, o de paz a Jehová, 9 ofrecerás con el novillo una ofrenda de tres décimas de flor de harina, amasada con la mitad de un hin de aceite; 10 y de vino para la libación ofrecerás la mitad de un hin, en ofrenda encendida de olor grato a Jehová.

11 Así se hará con cada buey, o carnero, o cordero de las ovejas, o cabrito. 12 Conforme al número así haréis con cada uno, según el número de ellos. 13 Todo natural hará estas cosas así, para ofrecer ofrenda encendida de olor grato a Jehová. 14 Y cuando habitare con vosotros extranjero, o cualquiera que estuviere entre vosotros por vuestras generaciones, si hiciere ofrenda encendida de olor grato a Jehová, como vosotros hiciereis, así hará él. 15 Un mismo estatuto tendréis vosotros de la congregación y el extranjero que con vosotros mora; será estatuto perpetuo por vuestras generaciones; como vosotros, así será el extranjero delante de Jehová. 16 Una misma ley y un mismo decreto tendréis, vosotros y el extranjero que con vosotros mora.(A)

17 También habló Jehová a Moisés, diciendo: 18 Habla a los hijos de Israel, y diles: Cuando hayáis entrado en la tierra a la cual yo os llevo, 19 cuando comencéis a comer del pan de la tierra, ofreceréis ofrenda a Jehová. 20 De lo primero que amaséis, ofreceréis una torta en ofrenda; como la ofrenda de la era, así la ofreceréis. 21 De las primicias de vuestra masa daréis a Jehová ofrenda por vuestras generaciones. 22 Y cuando errareis, y no hiciereis todos estos mandamientos que Jehová ha dicho a Moisés, 23 todas las cosas que Jehová os ha mandado por medio de Moisés, desde el día que Jehová lo mandó, y en adelante por vuestras edades, 24 si el pecado fue hecho por yerro con ignorancia de la congregación, toda la congregación ofrecerá un novillo por holocausto en olor grato a Jehová, con su ofrenda y su libación conforme a la ley, y un macho cabrío en expiación. 25 Y el sacerdote hará expiación por toda la congregación de los hijos de Israel; y les será perdonado, porque yerro es; y ellos traerán sus ofrendas, ofrenda encendida a Jehová, y sus expiaciones delante de Jehová por sus yerros. 26 Y será perdonado a toda la congregación de los hijos de Israel, y al extranjero que mora entre ellos, por cuanto es yerro de todo el pueblo.

27 Si una persona pecare por yerro, ofrecerá una cabra de un año para expiación. 28 Y el sacerdote hará expiación por la persona que haya pecado por yerro; cuando pecare por yerro delante de Jehová, la reconciliará, y le será perdonado.(B) 29 El nacido entre los hijos de Israel, y el extranjero que habitare entre ellos, una misma ley tendréis para el que hiciere algo por yerro. 30 Mas la persona que hiciere algo con soberbia, así el natural como el extranjero, ultraja a Jehová; esa persona será cortada de en medio de su pueblo. 31 Por cuanto tuvo en poco la palabra de Jehová, y menospreció su mandamiento, enteramente será cortada esa persona; su iniquidad caerá sobre ella.

Lapidación de un violador del día de reposo

32 Estando los hijos de Israel en el desierto, hallaron a un hombre que recogía leña en día de reposo.[a] 33 Y los que le hallaron recogiendo leña, lo trajeron a Moisés y a Aarón, y a toda la congregación; 34 y lo pusieron en la cárcel, porque no estaba declarado qué se le había de hacer. 35 Y Jehová dijo a Moisés: Irremisiblemente muera aquel hombre; apedréelo toda la congregación fuera del campamento. 36 Entonces lo sacó la congregación fuera del campamento, y lo apedrearon, y murió, como Jehová mandó a Moisés.

Franjas en los vestidos

37 Y Jehová habló a Moisés, diciendo: 38 Habla a los hijos de Israel, y diles que se hagan franjas en los bordes de sus vestidos,(C) por sus generaciones; y pongan en cada franja de los bordes un cordón de azul. 39 Y os servirá de franja, para que cuando lo veáis os acordéis de todos los mandamientos de Jehová, para ponerlos por obra; y no miréis en pos de vuestro corazón y de vuestros ojos, en pos de los cuales os prostituyáis. 40 Para que os acordéis, y hagáis todos mis mandamientos, y seáis santos a vuestro Dios. 41 Yo Jehová vuestro Dios, que os saqué de la tierra de Egipto, para ser vuestro Dios. Yo Jehová vuestro Dios.

15 CHÚA bảo Mô-se, 2 “Hãy nói với dân Ít-ra-en như sau: Khi các ngươi vào xứ mà ta cấp cho để cư ngụ, 3 thì hãy dâng của lễ bằng lửa cho CHÚA. Các của lễ đó có thể lấy từ bầy gia súc của các ngươi và có mùi thơm làm vừa lòng CHÚA. Cũng có thể là của lễ thiêu hay của lễ hi sinh để trả những sự hứa nguyện đặc biệt, hay là lễ vật cho Ngài hoặc của dâng vào các dịp lễ.

4 Người mang của lễ đến phải dâng của lễ chay. Của lễ đó gồm hai lít [a] bột mịn trộn với một lít dầu ô-liu. 5 Mỗi khi các ngươi dâng chiên con làm của lễ thiêu hay hi sinh thì cũng phải chuẩn bị một lít rượu nho để làm của lễ uống.

6 Nếu các ngươi dâng một con chiên đực thì cũng phải dâng của lễ chay bằng bốn lít bột mịn trộn với một lít mốt dầu ô-liu. 7 Ngoài ra hãy chuẩn bị một lít mốt rượu để làm của lễ uống. Mùi thơm của lễ sẽ làm vừa lòng CHÚA.

8 Nếu các ngươi chuẩn bị một con bò đực tơ làm của lễ thiêu hay của lễ hi sinh để trả những lời hứa nguyện đặc biệt hay dùng làm của lễ thân hữu cho CHÚA, 9 hãy mang của lễ chay chung với con bò tơ đực. Của lễ đó gồm sáu lít bột mịn trộn với hai lít dầu ô-liu. 10 Cũng hãy mang hai lít rượu làm của lễ uống. Của lễ nầy phải dâng bằng lửa có mùi thơm làm vừa lòng CHÚA. 11 Mỗi con bò đực tơ, chiên đực, chiên con, hay dê con đều phải chuẩn bị theo cách đó. 12 Hãy làm như thế cho mỗi con vật các ngươi mang đến.

13 Tất cả mọi công dân đều phải làm như thế. Mùi thơm của các của lễ dâng bằng lửa sẽ làm vừa lòng CHÚA. 14 Từ nay về sau nếu người ngoại quốc sống giữa vòng các ngươi muốn dâng của lễ bằng lửa để có mùi thơm làm vừa lòng CHÚA thì họ cũng phải dâng giống như các ngươi. 15 Từ nay về sau, luật lệ áp dụng cho các ngươi và người ngoại quốc đều giống nhau; trước mặt CHÚA các ngươi và người ngoại quốc đều như nhau. 16 Những điều giáo huấn và qui tắc cho các ngươi và người ngoại quốc đều như nhau.”

17 CHÚA bảo Mô-se, 18 “Hãy bảo dân Ít-ra-en: Các ngươi đang đi đến một xứ mà ta dẫn các ngươi. 19 Khi các ngươi ăn thực phẩm xứ đó thì phải dâng một phần cho CHÚA. 20 Hãy dâng bánh mì làm từ ngũ cốc đầu mùa, tức của lễ dâng từ sân đập lúa. 21 Từ nay về sau hãy dâng ngũ cốc đầu mùa cho CHÚA.

22 Nếu ngươi quên vâng theo một vài mệnh lệnh CHÚA truyền cho Mô-se thì sao? 23 Đây là những mệnh lệnh CHÚA ban cho các ngươi qua Mô-se, bắt đầu từ ngày CHÚA ban cho các ngươi và tiếp tục từ nay về sau. 24 Nếu dân chúng quên một trong những mệnh lệnh nầy thì họ phải dâng một con bò đực tơ làm của lễ thiêu để có mùi thơm làm vừa lòng CHÚA. Theo luật, ngươi phải dâng của lễ chay và của lễ uống cùng với con bò, và ngươi phải mang một con dê đực làm của lễ chuộc tội.

25 Thầy tế lễ sẽ chuộc tội cho dân chúng để toàn thể dân Ít-ra-en lại thuộc về CHÚA. Họ được tha thứ vì họ không biết mình phạm lỗi. Vì có lỗi cho nên họ đã mang của lễ đến cho CHÚA, một của lễ bằng lửa và một của lễ chuộc tội. 26 Như thế toàn dân Ít-ra-en và mọi người ngoại quốc sống giữa các ngươi sẽ được tha thứ. Không ai cố tình phạm tội.

27 Nếu ai vô tình phạm tội thì phải mang một con dê cái một tuổi để làm của lễ chuộc tội. 28 Thầy tế lễ sẽ chuộc tội người đã vô tình phạm lỗi. Người sẽ chuộc tội đó trước mặt CHÚA, rồi người sẽ được tha thứ. 29 Điều giáo huấn nầy áp dụng cho những ai vô tình phạm tội cho dân Ít-ra-en hay cho người ngoại quốc sống giữa các ngươi.

30 Nhưng nếu ai cố tình phạm tội tức nghịch lại CHÚA, người đó phải bị loại khỏi dân chúng, dù là dân sinh trưởng trong vòng các ngươi hay người ngoại quốc. 31 Người đó đã chống nghịch lại lời CHÚA, không vâng mệnh lệnh Ngài Cho nên phải bị loại khỏi những người khác. Người đó có tội.”

Người làm việc trong ngày Sa-bát

32 Trong khi dân Ít-ra-en đang còn ở trong sa mạc thì họ thấy một người lượm củi trong ngày Sa-bát. 33 Những kẻ thấy người lượm củi giải người đến Mô-se, A-rôn và toàn thể dân chúng.

34 Họ canh giữ người vì không biết phải xử lý với người đó ra sao.

35 Sau đó CHÚA bảo Mô-se, “Người đó phải chết. Toàn thể dân chúng phải ném đá người bên ngoài doanh trại.” 36 Cho nên toàn thể dân chúng mang người ra ngoài doanh trại ném đá chết theo như lệnh CHÚA truyền cho Mô-se.

Cách để nhớ mệnh lệnh Chúa

37 CHÚA bảo Mô-se, 38 “Hãy nói với dân Ít-ra-en như sau: Hãy đánh chỉ lại với nhau làm tua cột nơi viền áo các ngươi. Trong mỗi tua áo phải cột một sợi chỉ xanh. Phải mang tua đó luôn luôn từ nay về sau. 39 Các tua áo dùng để cho các ngươi nhớ lại các mệnh lệnh của CHÚA. Như thế các ngươi sẽ vâng theo các mệnh lệnh đó và không bất trung bằng cách chiều theo sở thích của xác thịt hay mắt mình. 40 Do đó các ngươi sẽ nhớ vâng theo các mệnh lệnh ta để làm dân thánh cho Thượng Đế. 41 Ta là CHÚA, Thượng Đế ngươi, Đấng đã đem ngươi ra khỏi Ai-cập để làm Thượng Đế ngươi. Ta là CHÚA, Thượng Đế của ngươi.”
