Then (A)Moses and Aaron fell on their faces before all the assembly of the congregation of the people of Israel. (B)And Joshua the son of Nun and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, who were among those who had spied out the land, tore their clothes and said to all the congregation of the people of Israel, (C)“The land, which we passed through to spy it out, is an exceedingly good land. If (D)the Lord delights in us, he will bring us into this land and give it to us, (E)a land that flows with milk and honey. Only (F)do not rebel against the Lord. And (G)do not fear the people of the land, for (H)they are bread for us. Their protection is removed from them, and the Lord is with us; do not fear them.”

And Joshua the son of Nun and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, of those who had spied out the land, tore their clothes; and they spoke to all the congregation of the sons of Israel, saying, “(B)The land which we passed through to spy out is an exceedingly good land. (C)If the Lord is pleased with us, then He will bring us into this land and give it to us—(D)a land which flows with milk and honey. Only (E)do not rebel against the Lord; and do not (F)fear the people of the land, for they will be our [a]prey. Their [b]protection is gone from them, and the Lord is with us; do not fear them.”
