41 But Moses said, ‘Why do you continue to transgress the command of the Lord? That will not succeed. 42 Do not go up, for the Lord is not with you; do not let yourselves be struck down before your enemies. 43 For the Amalekites and the Canaanites will confront you there, and you shall fall by the sword; because you have turned back from following the Lord, the Lord will not be with you.’

41 But Moses said, “Why are you disobeying the Lord’s command? This will not succeed!(A) 42 Do not go up, because the Lord is not with you. You will be defeated by your enemies,(B) 43 for the Amalekites(C) and the Canaanites(D) will face you there. Because you have turned away from the Lord, he will not be with you(E) and you will fall by the sword.”

42 Go not up, for the Lord is not among you; that ye be not smitten before your enemies.
43 For the Amalekites and the Canaanites are there before you, and ye shall fall by the sword: because ye are turned away from the Lord, therefore the Lord will not be with you.
