³⁰ Then ^(A)Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, “Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it.”

⁶ But Joshua the son of Nun and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, who were among those who had spied out the land, tore their clothes;

²⁴ But My servant ^(A)Caleb, because he has a different spirit in him and ^(B)has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land where he went, and his descendants shall inherit it.

¹⁹ These are the names of the men: from the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh;

^36 (A)except Caleb the son of Jephunneh; he shall see it, and to him and his children I am giving the land on which he walked, because ^(B)he ^[a]wholly followed the Lord.’

^12 (A)Then Caleb said, “Whoever attacks Kirjath Sepher and takes it, to him I will give my daughter Achsah as wife.” ¹³ And Othniel the son of Kenaz, ^(B)Caleb’s younger brother, took it; so he gave him his daughter Achsah as wife. ^14 (C)Now it happened, when she came to him, that ^[a]she urged him to ask her father for a field. And she dismounted from her donkey, and Caleb said to her, “What do you wish?” ¹⁵ So she said to him, ^(D)“Give me a blessing; since you have given me land in the South, give me also springs of water.”

And Caleb gave her the upper springs and the lower springs.
