⁸ With him I speak ^(A)mouth to mouth, clearly, and not in ^(B)riddles, and he beholds ^(C)the form of the Lord. Why then were you not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?”

¹⁰ And there has not ^(A)arisen a prophet since in Israel like Moses, ^(B)whom the Lord knew face to face,

¹² For ^(A)now we see in a mirror dimly, but ^(B)then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as ^(C)I have been fully known.

²³ Then I will take away my hand, and you shall see my back, but my face shall ^(A)not be seen.”

¹¹ Thus ^(A)the Lord used to speak to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend. When Moses turned again into the camp, his ^(B)assistant Joshua the son of Nun, a young man, would not depart from the tent.

⁴ In their case ^(A)the god of this world ^(B)has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing ^(C)the light of ^(D)the gospel of the glory of Christ, ^(E)who is the image of God. ⁵ For what ^(F)we proclaim is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, with ^(G)ourselves as your servants^[a] for Jesus' sake. ⁶ For God, who said, ^(H)“Let light shine out of darkness,” ^(I)has shone in our hearts to give ^(J)the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

^15 (A)No longer do I call you servants,^[a] for the servant ^(B)does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for ^(C)all that I have heard from my Father ^(D)I have made known to you.

^7 (A)If you had known me, you would have ^(B)known my Father also.^[a] From now on you do know him and ^(C)have seen him.”

^8 (D)Philip said to him, “Lord, ^(E)show us the Father, and it is enough for us.” ⁹ Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? ^(F)Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? ¹⁰ Do you not believe that ^(G)I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you ^(H)I do not speak on my own authority, but the Father who dwells in me does his works.

^16 (A)“The one who hears you hears me, and ^(B)the one who rejects you rejects me, and ^(C)the one who rejects me rejects him who sent me.”
