Numbers 11:9-11

New International Version

⁹When the dew^(A) settled on the camp at night, the manna also came down.

¹⁰Moses heard the people of every family wailing^(B) at the entrance to their tents. The Lord became exceedingly angry, and Moses was troubled. ¹¹He asked the Lord, “Why have you brought this trouble^(C) on your servant? What have I done to displease you that you put the burden of all these people on me?^(D)

¹⁰Moses heard the people ^(B)weeping throughout their clans, everyone at the door of his tent. And the anger of the Lord blazed hotly, and Moses was displeased. ¹¹^(C)Moses said to the Lord, “Why have you dealt ill with your servant? And why have I not found favor in your sight, that you lay the burden of all this people on me?

And why have I not found favor in Your sight, that You have laid the ^[a]burden of all these people on me?
