And (A)they kept the Passover on the fourteenth day of the first month, at twilight, in the Wilderness of Sinai; according to all that the Lord commanded Moses, so the children of Israel did.

Now there were certain men who were (B)defiled by a human corpse, so that they could not keep the Passover on that day; (C)and they came before Moses and Aaron that day. And those men said to him, “We became defiled by a human corpse. Why are we kept from presenting the offering of the Lord at its appointed time among the children of Israel?”

and they did so in the Desert of Sinai(A) at twilight on the fourteenth day of the first month.(B) The Israelites did everything just as the Lord commanded Moses.(C)

But some of them could not celebrate the Passover on that day because they were ceremonially unclean(D) on account of a dead body.(E) So they came to Moses and Aaron(F) that same day and said to Moses, “We have become unclean because of a dead body, but why should we be kept from presenting the Lord’s offering with the other Israelites at the appointed time?(G)
